You also get to see the largest golden statue of Buddha in sitting position at the Kuensel Phodrang. Trashichhodzong is another beautiful place to visit in Thimpu. Last stop today is the Handicrafts Museum that showcases the art and craft of the local Bhutanese.
End your day with a scrumptious meal and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast bid adieu to Thimpu and head back to Paro.
